The company’s salary calculation method is quite unusual: after agreeing on your total salary, they then tell you that 20% is tied to KPIs. As a result, the salary is relatively low compared with the industry. For Taipei salaries and newcomers, it is not very friendly and can be quite difficult.
Projects may include project bonuses, but this is never disclosed. An externally hired manager told me about it, but the company almost never pays them; you have to raise the issue and argue before they will pay.
The company’s senior management is chaotic. At the lower levels, you should focus only on what professional skills you can learn, and newcomers should be advised to stay steady.
