The senior designer at the Daan store who interviewed me was quite polite.
First of all, I applied for an administrative position, but when I actually went to the interview, it turned out to be for a receptionist position. I even asked the interviewer whether this position was a combination of administrative and receptionist duties.
The interviewer said no—the company already had two internal administrative staff members and was not hiring for that role. What they needed was a receptionist. (Then why advertise this position?)
By this point, I was already completely confused. For the first half hour of the interview, they just gave me the employee regulations to read on my own. I don’t remember the details very well, but I recall that they mainly consisted of a bunch of provisions about fines and salary deductions.
What ultimately prompted me to leave a comment here was that this company actually told 104 that I had not shown up for the interview.
Hello, are we living in parallel universes??????
Even though I wished the interviewer luck in finding a suitable candidate at the end… What a company that wasted my time and made no sense. I don’t know whether their internal processes are chaotic or whether they deliberately tried to mess with me.
