It looks like it makes sense....
As soon as I walked into the company, I realized it was just an office, and the space was not very large. Two employees, resembling receptionists, were sitting by the entrance. Then, one of them—a chubby woman wearing glasses—took me to the meeting room inside. Honestly, I was a little shocked that a Japanese company would have a meeting room without air conditioning.
Overall, the interview was fairly acceptable, but it felt unfocused. Aside from their own professional products, they expected employees to develop new business opportunities independently, yet they could not clearly explain what that involved. It came across as unprofessional; in detail, it felt like a company that expects employees to run well while also refusing to feed them!
They expect job seekers to have their own means of transportation but cannot provide a parking lot.
Also, during the interview, I vaguely felt that other employees were pricking up their ears to listen (including the chubby female employee who poured the tea), which made me feel extremely uncomfortable⋯⋯
That is basically it.
