Pros: The location is in a commercial building complex in Zhonghe. Working hours: 9:00–18:00 (lunch break 12:30–13:30).
On my first interview visit, I first filled out a personal information form and a personal data collection consent form.
After entering basic information, I had to complete some psychological and attention-to-detail tests.
Next, I interviewed with the HR manager. It mainly involved introducing myself and sharing my personal experience.
Then, I interviewed with a senior graphic designer (I never saw the supervisor at all).
I was assigned to the Overseas Editorial Department (online graphic design for Southeast Asia and mainland China). The work included photo editing, photographing products, organizing the warehouse, and creating composite banners.
A work report had to be written every month.
<Offer Notification>
They first notified successful candidates by phone, explaining that the company’s salary consisted of [base salary + meal allowance/full-attendance bonus of NT$2,000].
Once confirmed, they sent an offer letter. On the first day of work, I had to submit it and sign a confidentiality agreement.
Interview advice:
Pros
1. Employee purchase discounts are available, although the discount is not very large.
2. Benefits are stable and include the standard offerings. There is also an employee welfare committee.
1. Working hours are unstable, and graphic designers often have to work overtime!!! On my first day, I was instructed to edit 30 images. The better your skills, the more images the senior graphic designers will assign to you. I once edited 80 images in one day and worked overtime until 10 p.m. -.-
2. Colleagues are indifferent, and chatting is not allowed in the office.
3. The nearby food options are all expensive. For example, one serving of cold noodles costs NT$80....
4. Most importantly, the base salary is extremely low!!! At the time, I thought this was a large company with good promotion opportunities, so I decided to endure it. But later... I happened to see the salaries of other people on the team and learned that a team leader who had worked for five years earned only NT$30,000, while a section manager earned NT$32,000. In 2017, everyone even had their salaries cut all at once...
