The boss doesn’t want talented employees—he wants slaves. When applying, they forcibly change applicants’ job titles. I applied for an engineering position but was changed to a sales assistant; applying for an on-site engineer position became an outside field engineer. They don’t respect professional expertise; they just want to find someone to fill vacancies.
Employees are required to stay late on Tuesdays and Thursdays without overtime pay. The work is not limited to job duties and may even include handling the boss’s personal affairs! They treat people like servants.
I heard the company was inspected by the labor authorities and found to be violating many regulations, but the employer did not make improvements. Instead, employees were threatened into complying, otherwise their bonuses would be affected. The employer also studied loopholes in the Labor Standards Act with several veteran employees and fabricated documents.
There is no system to speak of. Supervisors do whatever they want, and internal communication is extremely poor. The sales team and engineers receive different information.
They make it sound like there will be technical training, but you basically learn nothing. In reality, veteran employees only teach you how to handle problems encountered at work, while also having you work overtime to build machines. They promise customers extremely short delivery times, clearly intending to make employees work overtime.
When difficult customers arise, they push engineers out to deal with them, while the salespeople pass the responsibility from one to another.
You can’t even feed yourself, let alone support a wife. You have no time for your children or friends, and end up working like a slave with no time of your own!
