The company is in a commercial building near Taipei 101. It’s fairly new, but the office interior is quite plain and basic. As with the previous interview, before the interview they asked me to fill in some information that I had already provided on my résumé on the job site, and to take a personality test.
The interviewer was a supervisor from the Planning Department. It felt like this was probably the highest management position there; above him would be the owner or someone similar?
After a brief self-introduction, he started explaining some of the projects involving their clients.
● Most of their work involves corporate internal events, internal training, year-end parties, and so on.
● It’s a responsibility-based system with no overtime pay, and there isn’t even compensatory time off...
● The company offers project bonuses, but the project’s earnings have to exceed a certain standard before you can receive one.
● The official working hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break.
● Apart from supervising on-site setup, designers need to help with on-site execution for smaller events.
● There seem to be only six employees internally?

Then they called again and went on and on...

If there is an opening ceremony, you would need to design the ceremony props. Occasionally, you might also work on public tenders and similar projects. I can also create 3D simulations, but even asking for 38K gets negotiated down. Are these skills really worthless nowadays...? Designers...
