You will probably receive a notification about a week after submitting your application.
At first, HR will ask you to fill out some basic information and a personality test questionnaire, which can be completed within 15 minutes. After that, they will call to notify you to come and pick it up. After waiting for about seven minutes, the manager will come in to interview you. They will first ask you to introduce yourself and talk about some of your past experience. Then they will ask you some questions related to your portfolio and what your work process would generally be like going forward. The whole process takes about 40 minutes.
The manager said that currently 70% of the company’s work is for overseas exhibitions and 30% is domestic, so it should be a fairly sizable company. The office is quite small and crowded, and therefore somewhat noisy.
Applied for the position of Graphic Designer/Visual Designer
After hearing the job description, it felt like the role was mainly doing odd jobs to assist the exhibition designer, such as pasting graphics and outsourcing printed materials.
They also asked questions like whether you are the type who works quickly or the type who takes more time to produce higher-quality work.
