The base salary is above average for the industry, and the performance-based compensation system can provide decent bonuses. The system meets the minimum standards required by the Labor Standards Act, and all the expected benefits are provided.
The managers do not know how to manage, and the company is extremely inefficient. It takes a great deal of time to inquire about and handle a single matter. Much of the company’s information and many of its procedures lack documentation and SOPs. Everything depends entirely on the person in charge and their mood. Information is not transparent; inventory and product quotations, for example, differ from person to person. The company only requires paperwork: you have to write a daily schedule and prepare a weekly plan, but the company does not review them and then asks you about everything again. Delivery times for the products they represent are uncertain, and you have to find the technical information yourself.
In short, joining this company is like running a one-person business: you are bound by rules, yet there are no resources to help you.
