1. Located in the Changbin Industrial Park next to remote Shengang, it is a large company with registered capital of NT$10 billion, backed by funding from several groups and the government.
2. The starting salary is fairly decent for the Changhua area.
3. The office was newly completed in recent years and feels clean and bright.
4. The salary system provides half a month’s base salary for each of the Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, plus an annual bonus equivalent to two months’ base salary.
1. Several companies in Taiwan have been phasing out polycrystalline solar silicon wafers. Given the industry’s prospects, it is difficult to guarantee whether the job can remain stable in the long term.
2. After submitting my résumé, I was not notified about an interview until more than a month later, which made it feel as though they were not in a hurry to hire.
3. Before the interview, applicants must fill out the company’s résumé form, including the salaries and annual compensation from previous employers, as well as the names and occupations of family members. They only stopped short of asking for a copy of the household registration transcript.
4. After the interview, there was no notification of the result, which felt disrespectful to job applicants.
5. Overall impression of interviewing at this company: It felt as though the interviews were conducted merely to meet performance targets, while also being used to obtain applicants’ salary levels and private family information.
