If you sell tea leaves, you can drink tea for free.
Except for the four big troublemakers (to be described later), everyone else is easy to get along with.
There is no lunch break; you get half an hour to eat.
Labor and health insurance, the basic wage, two days off per week, arriving early in the morning to clock in, and motivational chants.
1. The manager basically gets paid to sit back and do nothing. Every day, he puts on an act for his uncle (the owner) and then tells you to do things that will keep him from getting scolded.
2. The warehouse supervisor looks a lot like the unlikeable Wang Baoqiang. His face always looks inexplicably sour. He is also busy doing pointless things every day just to put on an act for the owner, and he likes taking advantage of small things. Whenever he sees you doing nothing, he tells you to organize the tea bricks that can never be completely sorted.
3. The owner's wife does not say much on the surface, but in reality she uses remote surveillance cameras to watch everyone's every move. As soon as someone stops to rest, she immediately calls and repeatedly presses you. Even when sitting in front of her, you cannot do your own thing; you might as well just stare blankly, because she is always watching you.
4. The owner is moody and unpredictable. Every day he puts on a sour face, and I have no idea whether he ate something.
He also shouts and yells at employees. I once heard him say something extremely arrogant: “If I’m unhappy, I can fire you! So what?”
Whenever he is in a bad mood, everyone has to stay on edge, especially during the summer when business is slow. He is a typical traditional businessman. While I was working there, I even dreamed that someone mixed bad tea with good tea and roasted it, then sold it at a high price. There was a large cart specifically for mixing tea.
Oh, right—occasionally you also have to go to the street corner to buy him beef fried rice, while employees are only allowed to eat cheap boxed meals.
Overall, no local people want to work there anymore. Its reputation has become so bad that they can only trick people from out of town like us.
