If you have special skills, the boss will be willing to find opportunities for you to showcase and develop them.
However, your salary will not increase accordingly.
It is an old company that appears to have been in the industry for many years,
but the company's capabilities also seem to have remained stuck in the 2000s.
The boss is a Hakka person who likes to make grand claims (and has many politically connected friends, most of whom are KMT members).

All of these are in the past.
The company has not improved. The boss also said that winning these awards did not bring any particularly substantial benefits,
so there have hardly been any award records since then.
The awards from the Boston International Film Festival won in the past year or two were also entered by the clients themselves.
The entries had nothing to do with the company's ability to execute projects, so there was really nothing to brag about.
The boss really likes holding meetings, while being out of the loop himself.
He really likes requesting quotes. Every expense for a project has to go through quote requests, comparisons, and negotiations (even for events that have to be carried out the next day).
Everything has to be personally approved by the boss (it is not enough to show him the records of the quote comparison and negotiation; he will also GOOGLE it for you on the spot).
His negotiating ability is so formidable that the company has very few regular vendors.
As for salary, there are no proactive raises.
There are project execution bonuses, which supervisors distribute according to the proportion of project work completed (the supervisor is quite conscientious).
There is a performance-review system for the year-end bonus; your year-end bonus is determined entirely by your KPIs.
However, the company must achieve 100% of its targets for there to be a one-month year-end bonus.
Your individual achievement rate is added to the department's achievement rate to produce a figure,
and this figure is often disappointing.
