Overtime pay is provided

1. The control room requires 12-hour shifts, with no break in between (they make it sound nice by saying you can rest when there are no calls, but calls can come in at any time, so you can’t really relax completely).

2. The base salary is only 25K; even with 5K in overtime pay, it only reaches 30K (day and night shifts have the same pay, and both are 12 hours long).

3. There are 8 days off per month. The so-called days-off scheduling is handled by the section manager (basically, three days on and one day off). If you want to arrange your own days off, sorry—find someone to swap shifts with you.

4. There is someone on the day shift—I don’t know who they are—whose face always looks unpleasant, whether they’re having their period or not.

Unless you’re really short on money and don’t have many other job options, it’s best not to come here.
