Just like an ordinary company, they immediately hand you a personal information form to fill out. Much of the information on it is already in your résumé, such as your education and work experience, company names, job titles, job duties, salary… It’s a huge waste of time. They also ask for your zodiac sign, blood type, national ID number, whether you have had any serious illnesses, your monthly living expenses, your previous annual salary… and so on. They also ask about your areas of expertise and interests, although I find this really meaningless. Just looking at this kind of form makes me feel that most companies in Taiwan are beyond saving.
There are also several EQ tests asking how negatively you think each event would affect you, and they assign scores. There are also some work-related questions, asking how you would handle various situations, as well as asking you to share a book you have read recently.
