The boss seems ambitious and also has strong business skills.
The other employees are quite PEACEful.
I joined the company in the middle of the month. When payday came the following month, I was told that, according to the employment contract I had signed, the employee had agreed to the following provision: “In the event of resignation resulting in employment for less than a full month, wages will be calculated at an hourly rate based on the minimum wage of NT$23,000.”
However, the company had notified me to start in the middle of the month, so how could this be considered an incomplete month due to resignation, requiring my wages to be calculated based on NT$23,000? In addition, my wages were not paid the following month either. I was told that, due to administrative procedures, the wages would be paid together the month after next.
During the interview, I was told that the company would fully cover taxi fares and gas expenses for field sales work. However, when I actually had to work in the field, I was told, “After you’ve been here for three months, we’ll try to get approval for you to take taxis.”
