Harmonious atmosphere
Sales staff
Clock in at 08:30; working hours after clocking out are based on a responsibility system. In Taipei, people usually leave around 7–8 p.m.; in Taichung, after 6 p.m.
Company vehicles are equipped with GPS. The monthly mobile phone subsidy is capped at NT$1,500.
During the first three-month probationary period: 30XXX, with no performance bonus.
For the following three months: 35XXX, with no performance bonus.
After six months, performance bonuses become available. I heard that it is possible to receive up to NT$50,000, but as the number of sales staff in the area increases, the bonus will probably be diluted.
Company culture: There is a culture of working overtime, and supervisors expect employees to work late. However, under the responsibility system, there is no overtime pay. (In fact, the Labor Standards Act stipulates that ordinary sales staff cannot be placed under a responsibility system; only business executives can. The Labor Standards Act also provides regulations for the responsibility system, and employers still have to pay overtime.)
