I applied for a position in Taipei. The HR representative was very attentive. From notifying me about the first interview to arranging the second interview, communication was very clear, and they also gave me a general overview of the company’s current situation and whether it would accept someone with my background.
I got the impression that both HR and the participating managers had read the candidate’s résumé before the interview. It never felt perfunctory or as though they were just going through the motions.
For the first interview, I spoke remotely with a manager from the Tainan headquarters. I had done my homework thoroughly, so I did not need to ask many questions.
For the second interview, the manager also explained in detail the challenges involved in the position. I had also prepared quite a few questions about the industry.
I am very grateful to the manager, who spent quite a lot of time with me. I learned a great deal!
Overall, compared with other companies in the same industry, the interview experience felt very warm and personable!
None. I was personally very satisfied with the interview process and the communication between both sides, and I felt respected.
