財團法人瑪利亞社會福利基金會
Pros

The starting salary is somewhat higher than that of an average new graduate entering the workforce.

Cons

The staff turnover rate for social work positions in a certain district is quite high. In the past, some employees resigned after developing depression, seeking psychological counseling, or receiving psychiatric treatment, among other reasons (you can ask senior students in the department for more information). However, the supervisors in that district always state that their center places considerable emphasis on staff unity and cooperation. Individual supervisors also tell social workers who have “problems” that they are mentally and physically unhealthy, lack confidence, or are affected by environmental factors. They may even invite other social workers to “analyze” that social worker together and conduct “individual supervision” as a group. Social workers’ personal information is not considered private. Therefore, it is recommended that applicants have both practical and theoretical knowledge, seek a healthy environment for growth, and be independent and adept at handling various interpersonal situations. As for overtime, simply walk around nearby after the scheduled end of the workday to check whether staff are still working and how frequently this occurs. The friendliness of the environment is subjective, so please discuss it extensively with former employees and faculty members.
