The company's hardware environment is quite good.
I received an interview invitation and went in, then filled out four questionnaires (personal information, a personality test, an essay about the service industry and my thoughts about the company, plus a thick stack of logic tests). After spending an hour and a half on them, HR tactfully told me that the manager didn't like my work and asked me to go home and wait for further notice (I didn't even get to see what the manager looked like).
It was only after I asked that I found out the interview invitation had been sent by HR. They bring candidates in first and only then submit them for the manager's review. I was dumbfounded.
