The benefits are fairly good: bonuses and gifts for the three major holidays, a cake on your birthday and work anniversary, time off on national holidays, regular working hours, and a subsidized lunch allowance of NT$1,800.
1. Because the company is in southern Taiwan, the starting salary is low by local standards. New employees start at around NT$28,000. Since most of the workforce consists of middle-aged long-term employees, promotions are difficult. It is a company suitable for those planning to stay until retirement.
2. The company headquarters is in Tainan, with branch locations in Songshan, Taichung, and Pingtung.
Most of the positions are staffed by former military noncommissioned and commissioned officers stationed within military bases, so having a military background makes it easier to get hired.
