The interviewer was quite polite.
Position applied for: Administrative Sales Assistant
It was only during the interview that they said the company currently wasn’t looking for an administrative sales assistant. Instead, they were recruiting an administrative assistant for another notary and consulting company, and the hiring decision would be made by a supervisor at that other company.
After hearing this, I felt that coming to the interview had been a bit of a waste of time. Why not state this clearly on the job bank website?
Therefore, if anyone wants to interview for the company’s “Administrative Sales Assistant” position, it would be best to ask for clarification over the phone first; otherwise, it is quite a waste of time to attend the interview.
