The company is large and well-known, operating in an oligopolistic industry.
Industry characteristics: It is an oligopolistic industry, so there are only a few competitors. Relatively speaking, the pace of the industry is slower.
Corporate governance/operations: The group’s control is extremely strong. All kinds of matters, large and small, require the group’s approval, and the group’s overall operating condition has a greater impact than the company’s own operating condition.
Organizational culture: Emphasis is placed on a wolf-pack culture, with results valued more than the process.
Relationships with colleagues: Average, similar to those at most large companies. The capable take on more work, and you get to see how skilled various departments are at pushing matters off whenever possible.
Workload: Extremely heavy. Staffing is insufficient. In the future, the company will focus on overseas operations, and staffing in Taiwan will tend to be streamlined. Employees must be willing to accept overseas assignments.
