The work environment is relaxed; there is no need to work overtime, and you do not have to clock in or out (though I heard that is required now). Employee purchase discounts.
The boss is very good at painting an overly rosy picture. They work very slowly and inefficiently, often leaving employees to deal with vendors chasing them for payments and contracts. The boss also borrows money from employees.
The employee labor insurance contributions went unpaid for more than six months. Salaries are frequently paid late, with no prior notice. The office is cramped and packed with goods.
One employee is expected to do the work of three or four people, and often has to perform duties outside their position. There have never been any salary increases.
The job listing stated that bonuses would be given for the three major holidays, but in reality, I only received a Labor Day bonus once. There was no year-end bonus for two consecutive years.
Before the Lunar New Year, employees were laid off on the grounds of business contraction, and then people were immediately recruited for the same positions. This was clearly malicious dismissal.
I advise anyone considering working there to think twice.
