Pros

The workplace is Panasonic Enterprise; things like “Zhonghe laptops” and “Japanese-company laptops” are all job openings from them.

There aren’t many advantages. If you’re temporarily short of money, you can go, and although the hourly wage is advertised as high, it’s actually still very low.

They will definitely pay your wages on time.

There is pre-employment training, but it’s basically just to prevent idiots from going onto the production line; the actual work is very simple.

You can become a regular employee, but regular employees cannot switch to part-time. In reality, part-time workers also have no freedom regarding working hours—their schedules are the same as regular employees’.

Cons

Overtime, overtime, overtime every day, and you have to stand all day. It’s impossible to get a chair unless there’s a seating area in the break room.

At night, they give you a piece of bread and call it a benefit, saying it’s your dinner.

In reality, they only give you half an hour to eat, it’s not enough to fill you up, and then you have to get back to work.

The supervisors also say that you really like working overtime—complete bullshit. The purpose of using this kind of rhetoric is to semi-coerce you into working overtime.

You haven’t even gotten used to one workstation after a full day, and the next day they move you to another workstation. You have to relearn everything, and then they still complain that you’re moving too slowly.

Before work, you have to sing the company anthem, taking up three minutes of employees’ time. Those three minutes are unpaid. This is a Japanese company with Taiwanese practices.

Some supervisors at this company seem intent on discriminating against people considered to have poor learning ability. They only resort to yelling instead of actually doing the work and guiding new hires. I’ve trained many new hires before, but I’ve never seen such a brain-dead way of training people.
