The boss is Korean... The interview is conducted in English... It’s a chance to practice speaking English.
The boss has unrealistic ideas... Doesn’t understand the regulations, yet, like most bosses in Taiwan, wants to control everything.
The products are sourced from the Korean parent company... yet they want to build a plant in Taiwan and apply for GMP certification? (They said the plant is planned for later... but I didn’t see it.)
Regarding all the documents and materials... the boss believes that because they were brought over from Korea, “they can just be used” (?)
There is a severe manpower shortage... The “general manager” who conducted the interview began by saying: “Our company is small... so everyone has to do many things” (Is that okay?)
The boss said the previous employee resigned because: “They thought the salary was too low.”
It’s a job where you can’t travel around much... yet the boss said that several overseas trips would be required every year to “liaise” (Even though it’s not a sales position, I’d still have to liaise with people?)
It seems they probably want to pay very little... and expect one person to do everything, working capable employees to the point that they quit... then searching online for replacements.
Two days after the interview, the job posting was updated, but I wasn’t notified of the result... left without any response.
