Pros

None. The pay is terrible, the environment is bad, and you can even get yelled at for turning on the air conditioning too early. It’s a run-down, dilapidated factory.

Cons

A small company. It’s ridiculous enough that they don’t respect professional expertise, but they also deduct an entire day’s pay for sick leave, which violates the Labor Standards Act. The sales department is full of people messing around. The salary for Japanese assistants is less than 30K, which is ridiculously low. There is overtime every day, and even the probationary period gets extended. They make all kinds of empty promises and constantly paint grand visions. The vice president spends all day showing off their MBA and strange groups and golf, but when you get down to it, there’s really nothing special. The company is extremely run-down; water drips from the ceiling on rainy days. At noon, everyone fights over the microwave. The wiring breaks every so often, and you never know when the electric fan will fall down. Basically, don’t come here and waste your time and life. The performance bonuses are pitifully small. Those with connections get away with everything, while those without connections continue to be exploited. They pretend to listen to all kinds of opinions, but in reality it’s a dictatorship. They can’t retain anyone, and there is no younger generation to speak of.
