The interviewing manager seemed quite friendly (?
The job listing on the job website offered a salary of NT$35,000, but during the actual interview they only mentioned that there was a three-month probation period (with a probationary salary of less than NT$30,000), and even after the probation period it would only be NT$30,000. Very misleading...
A very traditional company. Before the interview, you have to fill out a standardized résumé. I really don't understand this—wasn't this information already included on the job website...? There is also an option asking whether you can cooperate with working overtime. Once you see that, you understand what they're like~
I came to this interview because the company proactively called to invite me, and during the phone call I also made it clear that my English was not very good (because the job posting said that good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills were required). However, the HR person (?) replied that this wouldn't be a problem. But when I arrived, the interviewing manager told me that the job involved reading papers in the original language and that I might also have to deal with foreign clients......
Overall, I felt that this interview was a huge waste of time—it was basically just for filling out a form with my personal information.
