鍛鍊奴性
A company with Japanese practices but Taiwanese-style labor conditions
Typhoon days off are unpaid
You are required to come to work on makeup workdays
(Many Japanese companies do not require employees to work on makeup workdays.)
When the Japanese headquarters takes its summer vacation, you are forced to use your annual leave and take the time off as well
You cannot choose to come to work
If you do not have any annual leave left to deduct, you are given unpaid leave
Salary adjustments are slow, at only about 1–3% per year
Year-end bonuses are paid twice a year, at approximately 0.6–1 month’s salary each time
The company has a record of violating the Labor Standards Act
It was also "visited" by the labor bureau because it laid off too many people at once
Long-serving managers and Japanese employees are very influential within the company
You absolutely must not offend them, or you will suffer badly
Some managers who have been there for a long time have rather strange mindsets
Also, it seems that business performance has been poor recently, and I heard that layoffs are planned
