Based on the many reviews on this site, I verified the hiring manager’s hypocritical true nature one point at a time.

The impression given by the website differs greatly from the company’s actual culture. It presents itself as a foreign company but is actually local, and is worse than many local companies. The facilities in the cramped meeting room resemble a visit to a backward country.

The company’s benefits system is unclear, and it cannot explain the details. It demands that employees work like oxen and be all-rounders, while squeezing their salaries and even imposing requirements on employees’ appearance. Is this a beauty pageant? Why not look in the mirror first?

The hiring manager has poor emotional control and is thin-skinned, unable to accept straightforward honesty. As soon as someone exposes her game, she throws a fit. She seems articulate, but in fact everything she says is nonsense. She exercises unchecked power, and the overseas managers are completely manipulated by her. Every day, she schemes constantly to protect her own power. She never stops mentioning her experience as a senior executive at a multinational company, but in reality she is narrow-minded and uses dirty tactics. She repeatedly claims that this is a cultural enterprise, but all I saw was the dark side of human nature.

Her reputation in her former industry was poor. Although she was clearly an Asia-region account manager, she called herself the general manager of Taiwan. She was consumed by a desire for power. The National Palace Museum contract was worth nearly 100 million over three years, and the company’s largest annual expense was a salary of 2.5 million for someone who performed terribly, was not the general manager, yet called herself the general manager. No wonder the company saves on everything except her salary. Unable to find anyone else, she did the work herself, which was merely adequate. She claims that the National Palace Museum client is difficult to deal with; at least they are smart. In fact, the most difficult and low-class person is the individual herself.
