The staff member at the entrance was friendly and kind.
The company address is different from the interview address, so be careful when attending the interview.
The company’s actual name at the interview was “魔塊遊戲” (Movergames).
When I first arrived, I thought I had gone to the wrong place and could not find the company.
After entering, a friendly staff member greeted me and arranged for me to go to a small room.
When passing through the office area, there was no music or conversation; everyone was focused on their own work.
The environment was simple, without unnecessary decorations, and looked a lot like my kitchen.
The interviewer then came in carrying a Mac laptop. First, they asked me to give a brief self-introduction related to the industry and wanted to learn about my experience in the game industry.
They asked about the details of my previous work experience.
They asked how I obtained information about games and the industry.
They asked which games I currently play and which game I like the most.
Throughout the interview, the interviewer kept typing on the keyboard.
It felt like they were essentially conducting market research.
They asked for my views on working overtime and said that the work was based on a responsibility system and required clocking in and out. Naturally, it would be best if the work could be completed within working hours.
I did not ask further about overtime pay.
They asked whether I knew about the company’s recently released game. It was not shown on the official website either, because it only appears when searching for “Movergames.”
They said they had advertised extensively on Bahamut, but I honestly replied that I had never heard of this game. The interviewer then said there were no further questions.
Although I do not know why the company uses a different name, if they feel it necessary to do so, there must be something suspicious about it.
