洋基工程股份有限公司
Pros

1. There may be small snacks available at the major construction sites and headquarters, and occasionally afternoon tea.

2. Benefits at the assistant-manager level should be fairly good; I heard there is also a 400,000 vehicle purchase subsidy (source: information found on PTT).

Cons

1. The year-end bonus was cut for inexplicable reasons (myself and other colleagues speculate that it may have been because the company was trying to go public at the time).

2. About half a year ago, there were three or four occasions when I could not work overtime on Fridays or Saturdays because I had school exams. As a result, the company tried to fire me recently, in December, giving the reason that I could not cooperate with the company's overtime requirements and that communication with me had been ineffective (the key point is that no supervisor had ever communicated with me). I hoped to stay until at least receiving the Chinese New Year bonus, but the company's attitude was extremely firm, insisting on dismissing me before Chinese New Year.

3. Overtime is the norm. Almost the entire company does not get off work until after 9 p.m., and overtime cannot be reported every time. If too much overtime is reported, the company's senior management will call you in for a meeting.

4. A certain senior manager at the assistant-manager level uses the pretext of providing guidance to force other chief engineers to buy food or drinks for everyone in the public works office.

5. Students looking for internships are advised not to go there. I saw many interns either having nothing to do all day and receiving no instruction, or being used as manual labor while being paid very little.

6. The company's integrity is somewhat questionable. When I joined, it was agreed that the compensation would be 14 months' salary plus a year-end bonus, but starting January 1 of this year, many people's year-end bonuses were inexplicably cut, and no reason was given.

7. Some assistant-manager-level supervisors only look after certain employees. No matter how those employees perform, they always think they are doing a good job.

Also, the nephew of one assistant-manager-level supervisor is the person in charge of a construction site. One afternoon, he still had not arrived at work, and the client could not find him (because he was resting in the dormitory), so they asked “that” senior manager at the assistant-manager level to help find him. Yet the person in charge of the construction site was not punished for this incident—it's simply a case of officials protecting one another.

8. Construction quality varies, but the company does everything it can to exploit subcontractors (for example, delaying payments for certain reasons, or failing to proactively contact vendors when their payment requests have not even been sent to the finance department, causing the vendors not to know that their submissions had been rejected). As a result, after a certain technology factory was completed, most of the vendors went bankrupt.

That's about all for now. I'll add more if I think of anything else.
