There is water to drink.
At first, these reviews seemed okay, so I still went to the interview.
Only after I got there did I realize it was a waste of time. You really don't need to come at all!!
I interviewed for a quality control position at a China plant.
The interview was in Banqiao. After I spent two hours taking a test, they told me that I would have to undergo training at the Banqiao company for one or two years before I could be assigned to work in China.
I nearly fainted when I heard that.
Then this isn't actually a China-based position at all.
It's a Taiwan-based position, with development in China as one possible option.
Neither the interview notice nor the two phone calls mentioned this.
Why not say so earlier? Telling me only after I arrived was a complete waste of time.
Moreover, I already have experience, yet offering a salary of around 30K felt far too exploitative.
Finally, I asked whether HR understood the culture and operating methods of factories in China, and they didn't understand them either.
Then I really don't know what exactly you were interviewing me for!?
HR staff who give people the impression that they don't take things seriously can really damage their company's image.
