There are two interviews in total: one with a Taiwanese manager and another with a Japanese manager.
The Japanese manager was quite nice. The company is not very large and is a wholly Japanese-owned Hitachi subsidiary...
So it’s quite different from Hitachi Air Conditioning (English is not used).
The company managers are fairly old, all in their fifties. The Taiwanese manager (HR) spoke in a very cutting manner (not sure what they were acting so cocky about?).
Their language skills are clearly not very good, yet they still criticized the interviewee’s language ability. They spoke way too fast—way too fast, way too fast (I almost burst out laughing).
The company is fairly stable, but the salary is not high and there is no room for negotiation. The year-end bonus depends on performance evaluations and business conditions.
