崑洲實業股份有限公司
Pros

They are really short-staffed.

Cons

The benefits are terrible, the starting salary is low, and raises are not handled straightforwardly. When I was previously working at an overseas plant, one position turned into having to take on another position as well. Two months later, instead of working at one plant, I had to cover two positions at another plant too. So one person was being used as four people, while my salary was only adjusted by NT$3,000 after the three-month probationary period. A year later, the promised raise was not given, and they added that I had agreed not to have my salary adjusted (I was completely dumbfounded???). I was there to earn money, not to do charity work. Would anyone agree to give up their own opportunity for a raise? Would anyone earning less than NT$50,000 and taking on so many positions give up the opportunity for a raise? On my resignation form, I wrote that I did not want to renew my contract after one year. The person in charge of the plant added: “The management trainee is unable to perform the duties; life and learning.” Seeing wording like that was undoubtedly like being stabbed a second time. In short, if you just want to pad your résumé, there is absolutely nothing wrong with going to this company. But if you want long-term development, forget it. The boss’s wife values price over value. Capable people can definitely get better待遇 elsewhere.
