1. The benefits listed in the interview and job posting sounded very good, but in reality there were no benefits at all.

2. The rules for menstrual leave require you to come to work to fill out the leave form, or have a family member or friend come fill it out, before leave is permitted. This is extremely unreasonable!

3. The boss does not want employees to become too friendly with one another, out of fear that they will talk recklessly.

4. I originally applied for a design position, but was made to work as a customer service representative the entire time.

5. Less than two weeks after I started, I received a customer complaint call that I could not handle, so I asked my supervisor for help. The supervisor replied, “I also don’t know how to handle it.”

6. The boss likes to watch the surveillance cameras and monitor your every move. For example, if you turn on the air conditioning, they immediately call to ask why you turned it on.

7. You have to respond with your progress immediately every day. If you are busy for 2–3 hours and forget to reply, they say they will issue you a warning. (However, the head office does not even offer performance bonuses, so I have no idea what the point of issuing warnings is.)

8. When we received customer complaints, the boss did not actually want to deal with them and required us to argue until we “won” against the customer, because they did not want to compensate them for a pair.
