Pros

1. The colleagues are all quite nice. If you have questions, you can ask them directly, and they are willing to teach you. If you take learning seriously, you can learn quite a lot.

2. There are very few people—usually only three or four—so you do not have to engage in socializing.

3. Labor insurance is provided.

Cons

1. One very important point: you will constantly work overtime. During the interview, they said the working hours were from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., but in reality, you will usually work until 9 or 10 p.m., and during busy periods, sometimes until midnight. You have to pay for your own dinner. Sometimes you will be called in unexpectedly on weekends. You will receive compensatory leave, but only after one or two months. Furthermore, none of the above overtime is paid.

2. There are very few people. When I joined, there were only four people including the boss. Later, a new employee joined but resigned after only three days. According to another colleague, there have consistently been very few people over the past seven or eight years. There were six at most, and at one point there were only that colleague and the boss.

Whether this is a disadvantage depends on the individual, but the boss often stands right next to you and watches you for the entire day. Personally, I found it somewhat uncomfortable.

3. There is no lunch break. You finish eating within about 20 minutes and then continue working.

4. There is no time clock. You will be asked to write down the work you did that day in Google Calendar.

5. The boss has quite significant mood swings and will swear loudly in the office when in a bad mood.

6. Employee turnover is very fast. I heard that approximately 50 people have come and gone over the past seven or eight years, with each person staying an average of two or three months.

7. Because there are so few employees, there is no dedicated accountant, so salary payments are sometimes delayed.
