富鼎木業有限公司
Pros

1. Apart from getting paid and the weekend approaching, there are probably no other happy things.

Cons

There is too much to list, but I’ll try my best:

1. The workload: Start work at 7:00 every day

11:40 lunch

1:30 PM start work

5:30 dinner

6:30 back to work

. 8:30 finish work

Even if you work overtime until midnight, the boss will neither appreciate you nor think your workload is excessive.

2. The small number of Taiwanese employees (five or fewer): Most employees are from mainland China and Vietnam. People are malicious; the mainland Chinese and Vietnamese employees will gang up to bully Taiwanese employees and play mind games. They deliberately refuse to tell you the company’s procedures, making your work difficult, and then complain about you to the boss.

3. The boss is not a very reasonable person. He likes to hear flattering words and only believes those around him who curry favor with him. He does not understand the company’s rules and management very well. Even when you are in the right, the boss will still side with his favorites and those who curry favor with him.

3. The Italian general manager is the pillar of the sofa department. Because he has extensive connections and handles all the orders, the department is also profitable, and even the boss has to show him considerable respect. However, although the two appear to get along well on the surface, they badmouth each other behind one another’s backs. Whoever takes the business department position will become a scapegoat in the conflict between the two.

4. From top to bottom, everyone at this company is a smiling tiger: they appear friendly but stab you in the back several times. There are many people who curry favor with those in power, especially among the management-level employees.

5. The boss’s Vietnamese secretary is a sinister character. She often colludes with the general manager to use their authority to push work and responsibility onto others (depending on whether it benefits both of them). She will also conspire with other Vietnamese employees to frame you. If you are not on her side, she will use her authority and do everything possible to get rid of you, while badmouthing you to the boss.

6. Hard work will not be recognized at this company, because it is covered up and smeared by the people above who enjoy playing mind games. Even if you stay out of conflicts and simply do your own work well, someone with too much time on their hands will still deliberately cause trouble for you.
