The boss is hardly ever at the company, so there is a lot of freedom.
The boss and the boss’s wife are a married couple, and both are very good at painting rosy pictures. It’s frightening.
The company looks glamorous on the outside, but it is all appearance and no substance. Although it is supposedly a wedding consulting company that has been operating for a long time, it has never established any operating SOPs, and there is no standard for quoting prices to clients, making it difficult for employees to do their jobs.
The most frightening thing is that there is no labor insurance, national health insurance, or labor pension.
There are not even any annual leave days. They actually claim that because they provide a year-end bonus, they do not need to provide annual leave.
But ridiculously, the year-end bonus is just an envelope containing less than NT$10,000.
This clearly violates the Labor Standards Act—it’s only a matter of time before someone reports them!
Even payday on the 10th of the month can be delayed. The company has no accountant, so the boss’s wife makes the bank transfers in person. She habitually transfers less than the correct salary to employees; I don’t know whether it is unintentional or deliberate.
None of the conditions are the same as what was discussed during the interview.
They like to hire young people with little experience—blank slates who are easy to deceive. Eight days off per month, salary of NT$25,000.
When employees resign, they even badmouth them, afraid that the other employees will be influenced. They don’t realize that everyone thinks the company’s problems are extremely serious.
