The interview felt a lot like a psychological test. Besides completing aptitude test questions, I also had to undergo an interrogation by the interviewer. Although the interviewer (the boss?) was quite handsome and young, being interrogated felt really unpleasant. They kept obsessing over certain questions and seemed to use stereotypes to define my personality traits. I remember one question asked whether I would run a yellow light. I answered yes, and the interviewer looked at me and said, “You seem like the impulsive and direct type. Are you someone who is relatively impatient?”

I was really dumbfounded. They were using their own way of thinking to define someone they had just met. I feel that if we worked together in the future, we might not be able to get along harmoniously.
