First, I was not in sales before; I was only a sales assistant.
I just want to mention some of the strengths of the people in the company.
The accounting lady was very down-to-earth and conscientious, doing her best to ensure that the company’s policies complied with regulations.
When I left, I received a certificate of involuntary termination, and I am very grateful to her.
I am also very grateful to the two saleswomen who mentored me at the time (one of them was not my direct supervisor, but she was also very kind).
Overall, the office atmosphere was very good.
(However, when I was working there, the boss happened to be in mainland China.
The boss spent half of the time in mainland China and half of the time in Taiwan.)
Because I never worked with the boss, I do not know how to comment on the shortcomings. However, I know that my termination was the boss’s decision.
It was probably because the boss saw me under so much pressure that I burst into tears, so the next day the boss asked a salesperson to talk to me about leaving.
The company’s overall pace was quite fast. In fact, it seems that the electronics industry is generally like this. If you have experience, it will be less difficult when you join.
The company did not pay overtime, so aside from sales staff (sales seemed to have a different calculation method), it would nevertheless try to let other employees leave work on time. Considering today’s job market, I think that is quite considerate.
