Pros

1. Since there are no projects currently underway under contract this year, the workload is lighter, and I can leave and arrive at work on time.

2. It operates as a small company with no management layers, so I report directly to the owner.

Cons

1. Reportedly, this company had a glorious period 10 years ago. At that time, its situation was indeed as described on 104, but it no longer matches the company description on 104. All members of the management team have resigned or been laid off. The owner is now handling alone the work previously done by the heads of all the departments (business development/design management/organizational management, etc.). The management style is chaotic, with frequent abrupt changes in direction. In addition, the owner is advanced in age and often forgets things or fails to understand what employees are saying. The owner does not acknowledge mistakes and instead uses harsh words to mock employees, such as criticizing them for being unprofessional or lacking common sense. In fact, the misunderstanding is the owner's own.

2. During interviews, the owner uses persuasive rhetoric to create the impression that the company has many projects about to be undertaken. Only after joining do you learn that there are no projects currently underway under contract this year. The assigned work is to produce an internal company product, but later you discover that this "internal product" has already gone through several versions over the past 7–8 years, essentially being remakes with no substantive change.

3. During the interview, the owner says that the company values originality, prioritizes designers' ideas, and works in collaboration with the creative director (the owner's spouse). After joining, the situation is completely different. First, the designer can only follow what the creative director wants to do and acts merely as a draftsman. Second, the creative director does not actually value originality, but copies character designs, story structures, and other elements from other works, makes slight changes, and turns them into their own "design." When it comes to professional matters, however, the creative director either ignores them or disrespects professional advice. Third, project execution has serious problems. The creative director and the owner often have completely opposing opinions, but during meetings neither is willing to decide on a direction. Furthermore, while carrying out the work, the direction was confirmed with both of them at the 50% and 80% progress meetings, and there were also multiple internal discussions. Yet at the 90% meeting, they proposed opinions pointing in the complete opposite direction. The reason was that the two of them could not imagine the 100% result, but treated the 90% stage as the final completed result, leading to extensive rework. In the end, the creative director blamed the entire issue on the employees brought in by the owner. As an employee, you can only become completely disheartened, which is why the turnover rate is extremely high.

4. I will not elaborate on other more trivial shortcomings, such as the computer data management structure. In conclusion, the company is completely disorganized and chaotic. I recommend that young people with ideals, ambition, and passion need not consider this company, as it is already in the late stage of its corporate life cycle. I hope the above is helpful.
