There are no advantages whatsoever.

Oscar Pet Store and Pet Kingdom are owned by the same person.

The disadvantages of Oscar Pet Store:

The salary is not high, around NT$26,000.

After labor and health insurance deductions, only about NT$25,000 remains.

There are only six days off per month.

Days off can only be scheduled on weekdays.

Scheduling days off on holidays is strictly prohibited.

Unless you are getting married, in which case you may schedule one day off on a weekday and one on a weekend day.

Annual leave can only be scheduled for one day per month,

and it is also prohibited from being scheduled on holidays.

There is no additional day off for national holidays during the month.

There is no overtime pay for working on those days either.

Therefore, regardless of whether there is a national holiday,

the monthly salary is the same.

There is also no year-end bonus.

The bonuses for the three major traditional holidays are based on regular sales of pets and pet food.

But... when sales performance is poor, the bonus will be deducted.

If a pet dies for no apparent reason, the bonus is also deducted.

The actual bonus received is not much.

Sales are calculated on a team basis rather than individually.

Those who sell less but have more seniority

will receive slightly higher bonuses.

The fairness of the system is poor...

The promotion system is unclear.

Employees must also accommodate being transferred to other stores for support at any time.

Overtime cannot be converted into overtime pay.

It can only be exchanged for compensatory time off.

Even compensatory time off requires consideration of the staffing situation that day,

and it can only be taken at the beginning of the shift.

For example, if the shift is from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.,

you can only use it by starting at 9 a.m.

In other words, you can start work later, but you cannot leave work earlier.

After working there for a year, I had no choice but to resign.
