Colleagues get along very well because we have common topics to discuss, such as the quirky managers XD
You don’t clock in or out, so overtime isn’t paid as overtime.
The company is very good at brand marketing and promotion, so it’s easy to lure people into joining. There are often new colleagues XD Almost all the colleagues have changed this year, and even the very quirky senior managers have left, but it seems the new ones are also......
They claim to have flat management, but in practice it means the manager has the final say. If you don’t obey or express opinions different from the manager’s, they freeze you out and ostracize you. In meetings, emails, or group chats, they use cutting remarks, shout at and berate you, and humiliate you. I’ve heard that some colleagues have had their salaries inexplicably cut—apparently more than one person. The higher-level managers “may” not know what is actually happening, so these situations keep occurring. I’ve heard the same is true in other overseas offices: the managers are overbearing and self-righteous, yet not very capable. If you want to learn anything, don’t come here—you’ll only be wasting your time.
Many people have left the Marketing and Customer Service departments, so turnover is very high and there are always open positions.
HR has a terrible attitude and is very unprofessional. They don’t know anything about the benefits or policies you ask about, and they also keep cutting salaries.
Fortunately, I left early. In hindsight, it would have been better not to waste time interviewing or joining just to muddle through XD
