1. Frequently required to handle the senior manager’s personal affairs
Examples: driving her to a psychological clinic, delivering things to her friends, buying dinner for her son, arranging her schedule, checking and replying to LINE messages, etc. She uses you entirely as a personal secretary.
2. The senior manager’s personality is difficult to predict. She does whatever comes to mind, constantly changes her decisions, and has no principles whatsoever, making it impossible to work properly!!!
3. The company has no systems or SOPs. The senior manager will even use SOPs she has “temporarily devised” to reject all of your efforts.
4. The senior manager has periodic outbursts. For a period of time, she will continually target the same person and overturn everything that person does. For the same matter, she may say a month ago that doing it this way was great, then a month later criticize it by saying, “How could it be so terrible?” and make similar comments.
5. The senior manager only likes to hear flattering words and is completely impossible to communicate with. Even when colleagues intervene to help explain, they are directly told to shut up.
6. “Performance bonuses are just a dream.” When a larger client comes in, the boss’s wife will use every possible means to take it back into her own hands.
7. The company’s hardware, software, desks, and chairs are old and outdated. The senior manager keeps saying they need to be replaced or updated, but after two months of talking, nothing has been done.
8. The senior manager never explains tasks clearly, but expects the results to match what she has in mind. If things are not done well, she becomes furious.
9. Employee turnover is extremely high, and the workload is very heavy and miscellaneous.
10. There are always meaningless meetings that mobilize the entire company. Many employees in unrelated positions are also pulled in to sit through lectures.
11. The senior manager really likes asking employees to do things during their lunch break.
12. Payday is unstable.
13. The senior manager really loves telling stories about herself and lecturing others, even though she cannot do these things herself.
14. The senior manager’s thoughts are extremely disorganized. She starts doing A, then suddenly goes off to do B or C. Nothing can be done properly; the employees are always left to clean up the mess.
15. Riding in a car driven by the senior manager is life-threatening. She is unbelievably reckless and treats other people’s lives as a joke: driving against traffic, reversing on a national freeway after realizing she had taken the wrong exit, and, on ordinary roads, driving over the step of a roadside drainage ditch cover, blowing out a tire, and then making employees deal with the aftermath, among other things.
