1. Frequently required to handle the senior manager’s personal matters
Examples: driving her to a psychiatric clinic, delivering items to her friends, buying dinner for her son, arranging her schedule, checking and replying to LINE messages, etc. She completely uses you as a personal secretary.
2. The senior manager’s personality is difficult to predict. She does whatever comes to mind, constantly changes her decisions, and has no principles whatsoever, making it impossible to work properly!!!
3. The company has no systems or SOPs. The senior manager will even use SOPs she has “temporarily drafted” herself to reject all of your efforts and work.
4. The senior manager has periodic outbursts. For a period of time, she will constantly target the same person and overturn everything that person does. She may say that doing something a certain way is great one month, then criticize it a month later by saying, “How could it be so terrible?” and make other similarly disparaging remarks.
5. The senior manager only likes hearing pleasant things and is completely impossible to communicate with. If a colleague intervenes to help speak up, they may be directly told to shut up.
6. “Performance bonuses are just a dream.” When a larger client comes in, the boss’s wife will use every possible means to take the client back into her own hands.
7. The company’s hardware, software, desks, and chairs are old and outdated. The senior manager keeps saying they need to be replaced or upgraded, but after two months, nothing has been done.
8. The senior manager never explains things clearly, but expects the results to be exactly what she has in mind. If the work is not done well, she will fly into a rage.
9. The employee turnover rate is extremely high, and the workload is heavy and extremely miscellaneous.
10. There are always meaningless meetings that mobilize the entire company. Many employees in unrelated positions are also pulled in to sit through lectures.
11. The senior manager particularly likes asking employees to do things during their lunch break.
12. Payday is unstable.
13. The senior manager loves telling stories about herself and lecturing others, even though she herself cannot do the things she talks about.
14. The senior manager’s thoughts are extremely chaotic. She starts doing A, then runs off to do B or C halfway through. Nothing can be done properly; the employees are always left to clean up the mess.
15. Riding in a car driven by the senior manager is life-threatening. She is an extreme example of a terrible driver who treats other people’s lives as a joke: driving against traffic, reversing on a national highway after realizing she had taken the wrong exit, driving onto the step of a roadside drainage ditch on an ordinary road and blowing a tire, then making employees handle the aftermath, and so on.
