Pros

Break time

Cons

Because the department’s full-time positions are usually already filled, hourly part-timers who want to become full-time employees have to wait a very, very, very long time. The claim that it takes three months is a lie. Supervisors all say that if you perform better, they will promote you, but in reality, it is extremely difficult. Some people get promoted quickly through personal connections. For hourly part-timers, they control the hours you clock in, specifically exploiting loopholes in the Labor Standards Act. When the time is up, they quickly tell you to clock out, and of course, you are not paid for the time afterward. So, if you are considering working here, I advise you: if you have a better option, do not come here and hurt yourself~
