Break time
Because the department’s full-time positions are usually filled, hourly part-timers who want to become full-time employees have to wait a very, very, very long time. The claim that it takes three months is a lie. Supervisors all say that doing a good job will get you promoted, but in reality it is extremely difficult. Some people get promoted quickly through connections. For hourly part-timers, they control the hours you clock in and out, specifically exploiting loopholes in the Labor Standards Act. When your time is up, they will quickly tell you to clock out, and of course you will not be paid for the remaining time. So if you are considering working here, I advise you: if you have better options, do not come here and hurt yourself~
