Taking care of adorable babies
In the summer, the entire facility is full of mosquitoes, including the nursery!! I was even bitten by mosquitoes while feeding a baby in the nursery. The working environment is poor! In winter, there is mold everywhere. The most serious problem is on the bedside tables in the mothers’ rooms. The housekeeping staff work very hard to clean it, but it keeps growing back. The company never takes active measures to address the problem and even hides it from the fathers and mothers. This makes me feel very uncomfortable because it endangers people’s health and could cause allergies or infections!
In addition, one colleague has a bad temper. When she is in a bad mood and encounters a crying baby, she treats the baby very roughly and has even hit a baby on the head. The company’s surveillance cameras captured the incident, and the company was aware of it, but still continued to employ this colleague. She would even slam things around in the nursery, including cabinet doors and babies’ bottles, just to express her dissatisfaction. This not only makes the people working with her feel anxious, but the loud noises also frighten the babies. No wonder I always feel that the babies here cry particularly often...
What is even more infuriating is that, in order to reduce costs and make money by opening new facilities, the company forces staff to take leave or leave work early even when the personnel on site could handle the workload at the time. This leaves the remaining staff with an excessive workload. They also require nursery staff to learn customer service duties, or customer service staff to learn nursery duties, in order to solve problems caused by the company’s efforts to save on labor. They expect each of us to do the work of several people!
Overall, working here has made me feel increasingly depressed...
