1. Salaries are paid late. When I asked the person in charge, I only got: “The HR manager just returned to Taiwan, so the payment was delayed.” For fuck’s sake—I’ve worked at all kinds of companies, and I’ve never once had a salary paid late, much less heard a senior manager give an excuse like that. Seriously… impressive. Time to close up shop~
2. They make huge promises about benefits, saying things like there will be gifts for the three major holidays, but after the Dragon Boat Festival passed, there wasn’t a damn thing. Heh.
3. It would be bad enough if the boss were merely unprofessional, but he doesn’t know how to manage people either. He says, “I don’t want to manage people,” and then handles everything haphazardly. The most outrageous part is that everyone underneath him is still expected to listen to him. What a fucking contradiction~
4. You have to repair broken testing equipment yourself. Just taking apart a module takes more than half a day. Are we not supposed to do anything else because we’re repairing equipment? Is it really that difficult to hire a vendor’s engineer for maintenance? If you don’t have the money, don’t even think about starting a company.
5. We’re constantly cleaning up the messes left by those who came before. Looks like this isn’t the first time these problems have happened at this company 🤔
6. Employees are fired for no apparent reason—completely out of the blue. They just say, “You’re not suitable for this job,” and tell you to get lost the next day, leaving every new hire feeling like they’re sitting on pins and needles.
7. New-hire training is a complete mess. There isn’t even a proper, complete SOP, or it’s only half-done. On top of that, they expect newcomers who have been there for less than a week to go in, Google information, and teach everyone else.
