Taking groups of affluent students allows you to enjoy decent food and stay in decent hotels.
Many years ago, I worked as a tour leader for this company. During the interview, the junior supervisor said the pay would be NT$1,000 per day. When payday came, I discovered that the payment was short. Only after asking the owner's wife did I learn that the daily rate was NT$800. Paying NT$800 a day is really quite insulting! They are severely understaffed, yet they offer only this kind of rate. No wonder no one wants to come, and those who do come leave in waves!
When I worked there, there were many gay employees at the company, and they would even take advantage of their positions to sexually harass others. It was extremely disgusting!
