1. The site administration position is described as being for construction site workers, while the business administration position is described as being for business personnel. However, regardless of the position, employees will be taken to construction sites to work as construction workers. Even women with no relevant background are required to work as construction workers and actually perform construction work.
2. There is no travel allowance whatsoever, only very poor apartment-style accommodations.
3. For business trips, the only transportation available for the round trip is the boss’s car. Sometimes, if you are unlucky and get stuck in traffic, you do not arrive back in northern Taiwan until 10 or 11 p.m. You still have to report to work on time the next day, with no overtime pay or compensatory leave.
4. Although the lunch break is one and a half hours, do not be happy about it, because meeting time will take up part of your lunch break.
5. If a construction worker’s qualifications do not meet certain requirements set by the client, the company will do everything possible and use various means to make the client see documents marked as “qualified.”
6. If you really want to work at this company, back up and document everything you do in order to protect yourself.
